Lisa was born and raised in Point de Bute, NB. Her passion for the outdoors led her to pursue a
career in the forest industry in 1997. After obtaining a Forest Technologist Diploma, she
worked throughout rural communities in NB for 22 years. Her desire to help others directed
her to pursue a new career path and in 2019 she began her studies at the Canadian College of
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was trained in the
ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine and graduated in June 2022 as a Registered
Acupuncturist. In her Acupuncture treatments she incorporates Guasha, Cupping, Acupressure
Massage, Moxibustion and Auriculotherapy. Lisa educates and encourages her patients to take
an active role in their health. She brings a compassionate and calm nature to her treatment
space and provides a safe, no judgement place to heal.
Jason is a passionate, evidence-based chiropractor who provides a combination of hands-on chiropractic care, acupuncture, and myofascial release therapies, that includes cupping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Techniques (IASTT). He also uses supervised and home exercise to assist in a more complete patient-centred rehabilitation.
Dr. Bonar completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick in 2007, and then graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto (2011), where he attended post-graduate studies in Clinical Sciences, worked as a clinical educator, and practiced privately for 8 years. He is certified in acupuncture from McMaster University, and has certification training in Active Release Therapy, lumbar spinal stenosis boot camp protocols, and GLA:D Canada.
Jason is an avid hiker/nature lover, cyclist, and Nordic skier. He was an Atlantic University All-Canadian Cross-Country runner, competed in triathlons and has experience as a kayak/canoe instructor. He ultimately looks forward to helping patients achieve their goals for better health and function.
